Fortrex trolling motor features a single hinge point and rear pivot bearing, offering reduced noise, greater strength and longer life than traditional scissor mounts. Marine grade extruded anodized aluminum structural beam is lighter in weight. The Minn Kota exclusive Counter-Tension Stabilizer is an integrated spring arm. It eliminates motor play and reduces noise as well as reduces steering torque at higher speeds and in heavier chop. A nitrogen gas-charged spring lift assist cuts the weight of stow and deploy in half. A nearly indestructible composite shaft flexes on impact - it's guaranteed for life. A redesigned, streamlined foot pedal keeps the momentary button within easy reach and a more adjustable speed control.
